Fellowship Opportunities

The JOY group is an active, social group that has many opportunities to grow spiritually as well as a variety of social fellowships. We are sure you will find plenty to do in the Senior Adult Ministry of CUMC.

Retired Men’s Coffee

Open to all retired men, this group meets Monday through Friday from 7:30 – 9:30 am. If you’re interested in coffee and fellowship, join us in the Youth Game Room.

Bridge

If you love bridge or have always wanted to learn to play, CUMC has just the place for you. Whether you're a beginner or a pro you can join these groups.

The Bridge Lessons Group – is led by Fran Jones and meets at 9:30 in room 220 at the church.

Partners Bridge Fellowship – meets the 3rd Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in room 235. Anyone is welcome to join and play.

JOY Bridge – The JOY Bridge group meets after the JOY luncheon on the 2nd Thursday of each month for some exciting bridge play. Join them at 1:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

JOY Luncheon

Once a month, the JOY group gathers for a luncheon. In addition to some great food, they spend time with friends and catching up before a speaker presents to the group. In addition, there is often an entertainer or artist who shares their gifts. The JOY luncheon is open to all for a cost of $6.00, Reservations must be made by Monday noon prior to the luncheon.
