CHURCH MISSIONS : MINISTRY PARTNERSHIPS

Christ United also has a heart for our community. We support nearly 40 local and community ministries with financial and volunteer support. Our congregation makes missions a priority. All age groups are involved. Last year our grade school children collected school supplies for Katrina victims and also made contributions to Stewpot. Many others in our congregation serve with Habitat for Humanity, Katrina work missions, Angel Tree and many others.

A strong precept of our Missions Program is to be in mission with people, not for people.  Our church participates in missions through our Ministry Partnerships.  Our volunteer groups are comprised of those volunteers whose common purpose is to meet the needs of a particular ministry supported by our church.  

Our volunteers may participate through hands-on opportunities that are ongoing. They may also offer support through prayer and monetary donations.
