Fellowship, Friendship, Trust & Support.
And let us consider how we may
spur one another on toward love and
good deeds. Let us not give up
meeting together, as some are in the
habit of doing, but let us encourage
one another— and all the more
as you see the Day approaching.
— Hebrews 10:24-25

We are a Bible study open to all women, particularly women with children living at home. We meet weekly on Tuesdays from 9:00–11:00 a.m. during the school year. The nursery is available at no cost. We begin with a time of fellowship and refreshments, then break up into our small groups of about ten women each. After this, we come back together for a group discussion or lecture. Melissa Neyland is currently serving as our teaching leader. Our studies assist us in learning God’s word and how it applies to our lives. They help us to walk more closely with Christ on a daily basis.
Each small group has a leader and mentor. The leaders facilitate group
discussion and prayer. Our mentors are women in our church family who are ahead of us on the path of motherhood. “The mentors are special to each group,” says Jodi McNeese. “These women have experienced the life we are now living, and they can offer wisdom, support, and guidance that are truly invaluable.”
A small group is a place where one can experience love, acceptance, compassion, and accountability. Women receive the prayers, nurturing, support and encouragement of other women. Deep and meaningful friendships are formed. We walk with one another through the ups-and-downs of life, as well as encourage and challenge one another in spiritual growth.
Books we have studied in the past include The Challenge of Being a Woman by Alice Painter, Raising Great Kids by Cloud and Townsend, and Life from the UpSide by J. Ellsworth Kalas.
