Frank Haynes, Associate Pastor / Discipleship

Frank Haynes is the Pastor of Discipleship at Christ United Methodist Church where he provides leadership for the Church’s Pathway of Discipleship and all discipleship ministries and opportunities. His primary responsibilities are to ensure Christ United embraces its core value of intentional discipleship to all ages and life stages. This includes direct involvement with Young Adult and Adult Discipleship, as well as leadership with the Children and Student Ministries and their staff.

Prior to his current role, Frank worked with the Mississippi Annual Conference as the Director of Young People’s Ministry, a ministry charged with speaking, leading, and equipping all youth, campus, and young adult ministries connected with the United Methodist Church in the Mississippi Annual Conference and across the Southeast. During part of this time, he served at Christ as the Pastor to Young Adults. Frank has also served stints in Georgia and Kentucky in youth and young adult ministry.

Frank grew up in Senatobia, Mississippi and is a graduate of Mississippi State University. He then received his Master of Divinity at Asbury Theological Seminary in 2009. Frank is very passionate about the church and really believes the Church is God’s plan to build and advance his Kingdom in the world. More than anything he desires for the Christ United to be a disciple making culture and to see all Christians come to the point in their faith that they are equipped and are active in making Disciples of Christ transforming the world.
