Ushers

The CUMC ushers consist of 75 volunteers working on a rotating quarterly schedule in groups of about 25-30. The ushers serve many roles on a given Sunday. They help to find seating for those who need it and they distribute the bulletin and handouts. In addition, ushers count weekly attendance, take up collections and special offerings and assist in the Holy Communion services.

Any adult who wishes can serve as an usher, and new ushers receive training on the various responsibilities the job entails. If you would like to serve as an usher, call Jim Ricks at 601-259-0701 or email him at ushers@christunitedjxn.org
