What to Expect
If you're new to Christ United or are considering joining us for a service, we hope you'll find a place where you will be warmly welcomed and accepted. You matter to God—and you matter to us, too! Whether you are a long-time Christian or a seeker who is just beginning to ask questions about Christ, you are welcome here! If you have any questions, please feel free to email .
We want you to feel as comfortable as possible while visiting our campus. We've put together some basic information to help your visit be as pleasant as possible.
What should I wear?
Whatever you're most comfortable in. On a typical Sunday, you can see people in anything from shorts and flip flops to a suit and tie.
Where do I park?
We have plenty of parking throughout our campus. We offer shuttle service to our outermost parking lot for your convenience. For those with special needs, we have plenty of handicapped parking available close to the entrances.
Where do I go once I’m inside?
Our Daybreak and Traditions services are located in the Sanctuary, and our modern service, The Bridge, is located in the Fellowship Hall. If you arrive early, feel free to stop by the Connections Center and grab coffee and donuts! We have greeters (with nametags) who will be happy to direct you where you need to go and answer any questions you may have.

What should I do with my kids?
We have an exciting Kids Ministry that offers age appropriate programs for kids who are kindergarten and below during all worship services. We also offer Sunday School and Wednesday night programs for kids who are newborn to 5th grade. A Kids Ministry volunteer (in an apron) would be happy to meet you in the Kids Wing.
How do I know which worship service is for me?
If you prefer high-energy music led by an on-stage band with technology driven worship elements, you may enjoy The Bridge worship service which begins at 10:45am in our Fellowship Hall.
If you are looking for a traditional word and table style of service, then Daybreak is a wonderful place for you to worship at 8:30am in the Sanctuary.
If you enjoy deep-rooted traditions, choir, orchestra, and hymns, then our Traditions worship service is the place for you! The time is 10:45am in the Sanctuary.
I'm not used to going to church, and I'm not really sure what I believe about God yet. Will I be welcome at this church?
Yes! If you have questions and doubts, that's OK! Christ United is a place where you can learn about God and wrestle with difficult questions. We invite you to come, questions and all. You may also wish to contact the church office and arrange a time to speak with one of our pastors.
Do you have to be a member of Christ United before becoming involved in Sunday school or small groups?
We do not require membership in order to participate in these activities. We want everyone to be able to be involved in activities where they can grow spiritually and enjoy fellowship with others.
I'm coming from another denomination. Can I still attend this church?
Yes! You don't have to come from a Methodist background to attend Christ United. Our doors are open to everyone regardless of religious background or life experiences.
Will I be expected to give financially when an offering is taken?
As our guest, you may give if you would like, but please do not feel obligated to give financially. Visit our Give page for more information about donating.
What is Communion?
Communion, also called the "Lord's Supper," is something Jesus began the night before He died for us on the cross. At Christ United, we usually celebrate Communion together the first Sunday of each month during all worship services and at Daybreak every Sunday.
You do not need to be a member of this church to take Communion. The Lord's table is open to everyone who loves Christ and has repented of sin.
You do not have to take Communion. The decision to participate in Communion is between an individual and God. The Lord's table is open for you when you decide that you are ready.
It may be referred to as "wine," but what we serve during communion to symbolize Christ's blood shed for us is actually grape juice.
