    Scripture

    Colossians 1:3, 9-10

We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,[a] 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God

    Prayer

Father, you have continued to bless your people by giving them children to love and nurture.  And we love the children and young people you have given this church.  We lift them to you Lord, that they may hunger and thirst for your word, that you would create in them a desire to know you and love you and walk faithfully with you.  We pray against temptation in their lives and pray that you would place a mentor in each of their paths that would love them and pray for them and encourage them in their walk with you.  We pray for protection of their hearts, that while they may be away from us, you will always be with them.  Thank you God that you love them more than we can understand.  Help us trust you and your plan for their lives.  And help us continue to pray for them as they grow.  In Christ’s name we pray.
