CELEBRATE RECOVERY

Celebrate Recovery is a 12-step recovery program designed to help men and women find freedom from the hurts, habits, and hang-ups that consistently derail our relationship with God and with other people.

The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to encourage fellowship and to celebrate God’s healing power in our lives as we work our way along the road to recovery. Here, we find freedom from our addictive, compulsive, and dysfunctional behaviors. It is through this freedom that we find serenity, joy, and the direction to recover the relationship that God longs to have with each of us.

One common misconception of Celebrate Recovery is that it is only for those who are struggling with a chemical addiction (drugs or alcohol). While it is true that many people struggling with chemical addictions have found freedom through the 12-steps, Celebrate Recovery is for anyone who has a hurt, habit, or hang-up that is causing problems in their life. Statistically, around 1/3 of the folks in Celebrate Recovery are here because of struggles with drugs or alcohol. The other 2/3 are here for one or more of the multitude of issues that keep us demoralized and defeated. We would love to talk with you about whatever life struggles you are facing right now.

Celebrate Recovery meets every Thursday night at 6:00pm (except holidays), in the Youth Center of Christ United. Please park on the south side of the church and enter through the Youth entrance (patio area with “Youth” posted on the brick wall above the entrance).

Thursday night schedule:

  • Dinner: 5:15pm – 6:00pm
  • Large Group: 6:00pm – 7:00pm
  • Open Share Groups: 7:00pm – 8:00pm

Childcare is available for children in 5th grade or younger. Due to the content of the programming and discussions, we ask that no one under 18 years of age attend large group or open share groups.
