Our Ministries
The ministries of Christ United Methodist Church offer many and varied opportunities to experience the transforming grace of Jesus Christ, both within the faith community and in the community we serve. CUMC seeks to provide opportunities for you to get involved, grow in your faith, and be connected to the family of God. Church is so much more than attending a weekly worship service. It's about connecting with others to find and provide support, encouragement and fellowship while serving God.
Our ministries can be grouped as purpose ministries and relationship ministries. Purpose ministries help us reach our goals as a congregation and serve people no matter their age or gender. Some of these ministries are: Community Groups, Bible Studies, Prayer, Outreach (including Missions and Evangelism), Music and Worship.
Relationship ministries are organized around people with similar ages and interests. They are: Children's, Youth, Young Adults, Singles, Men's, Women's and Senior Adults.
Other ministries at CUMC exist to support the church in a variety of behind-the-scenes ways. These include Administration, Communications, the Foundation and the Kitchen Ministry.
All the ministries work together to ensure that our members and friends are both cared for and able to find meaningful ways to care for others in our church and world. With over 60 different ministries and more than 400 events scheduled each year, CUMC provides ample opportunities for you to grow in faith.
